1985 to 2002: Adjunct
Lecturer in English, University of North Texas (UNT), Denton, TX. Teaching duties included
Great Books, World Masterpieces, Academic Core Courses, basic courses in English,
Technical Writing, Logic, Introduction to Philosophy, Aesthetics, and Creative Writing.
Created and maintained class websites through WebCT. Appointed Graduate Reader, Fall 1988,
Robert B. Toulouse School of Graduate Studies. Reviewed theses and dissertations for
style, finish and technical acceptability, advised authors on style, format and technical
issues, updated and revised UNT thesis manual, coordinated electronic thesis
and dissertation project from 1999, published finished theses and
dissertations on the World Wide Web, created and maintained graduate school
thesis and dissertation website, edited various university documents and
